《地球科學(xué)評論》比一般的專業(yè)期刊涵蓋更廣泛的領(lǐng)域，發(fā)表涉及地球科學(xué)各個方面的評論文章，是讓讀者看到他們對整個地球科學(xué)特別感興趣的重要工具。我們的讀者比專業(yè)期刊的讀者更多樣化:包括研究科學(xué)家、學(xué)生、參與方案支助和管理以及環(huán)境評估和控制的政府機(jī)構(gòu)、關(guān)心地球資源的私營企業(yè)和獨立顧問。

Covering a much wider field than the usual specialist journals, Earth Science Reviews publishes review articles dealing with all aspects of Earth Sciences, and is an important vehicle for allowing readers to see their particular interest related to the Earth Sciences as a whole. Our readership is more diverse than that of specialist journals: as well as research scientists, also students, government agencies involved in programme support and management and in environmental assessment and control, private industries concerned with planetary resources, and the independent consultant.
