IMA應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)雜志是1965年創(chuàng)辦的英國數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)及其應(yīng)用雜志的直接繼承者。它是一個(gè)跨學(xué)科的期刊，出版物理科學(xué)和工程領(lǐng)域的數(shù)學(xué)研究，以及適合生命科學(xué)、社會(huì)科學(xué)和金融領(lǐng)域的文章。提交的申請(qǐng)書應(yīng)處理應(yīng)用程序中出現(xiàn)的有趣而具挑戰(zhàn)性的數(shù)學(xué)問題。期望在應(yīng)用程序的開發(fā)和分析之間取得良好的平衡。使用已建立的方法來解決已解決的問題或在沒有應(yīng)用的情況下進(jìn)行分析的論文將不予考慮。該雜志歡迎許多研究領(lǐng)域的投稿。例如:連續(xù)介質(zhì)力學(xué)材料科學(xué)與彈性，包括邊界層理論、燃燒、復(fù)雜流動(dòng)與軟物質(zhì)、電流體力學(xué)與磁流體力學(xué)、地球物理流動(dòng)、粒狀流動(dòng)、界面與自由表面流動(dòng)、渦動(dòng)力學(xué);彈性理論;線性和非線性波傳播、非線性光學(xué)和光子學(xué);逆問題;應(yīng)用動(dòng)力系統(tǒng)與非線性系統(tǒng)數(shù)學(xué)物理;隨機(jī)微分方程與隨機(jī)動(dòng)力學(xué)網(wǎng)絡(luò)科學(xué);工業(yè)應(yīng)用。

The IMA Journal of Applied Mathematics is a direct successor of the Journal of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications which was started in 1965. It is an interdisciplinary journal that publishes research on mathematics arising in the physical sciences and engineering as well as suitable articles in the life sciences, social sciences, and finance. Submissions should address interesting and challenging mathematical problems arising in applications. A good balance between the development of the application(s) and the analysis is expected. Papers that either use established methods to address solved problems or that present analysis in the absence of applications will not be considered.The journal welcomes submissions in many research areas. Examples are: continuum mechanics materials science and elasticity, including boundary layer theory, combustion, complex flows and soft matter, electrohydrodynamics and magnetohydrodynamics, geophysical flows, granular flows, interfacial and free surface flows, vortex dynamics; elasticity theory; linear and nonlinear wave propagation, nonlinear optics and photonics; inverse problems; applied dynamical systems and nonlinear systems; mathematical physics; stochastic differential equations and stochastic dynamics; network science; industrial applications.
