《當(dāng)代遺傳學(xué)》發(fā)表真核、原核微生物和細(xì)胞器的遺傳學(xué)、基因組學(xué)、分子和系統(tǒng)水平的分析。所有文章都經(jīng)過(guò)同行評(píng)審。該雜志歡迎使用任何類(lèi)型的研究方法提交，無(wú)論是分析(旨在更好地理解)、應(yīng)用(旨在實(shí)際應(yīng)用)、綜合或理論研究。目前的遺傳學(xué)不再接受描述少數(shù)物種線粒體/葉綠體基因組序列的手稿。仍將考慮包括大量物種在內(nèi)的序列比較和分析的手稿。

Current Genetics publishes genetic, genomic, molecular and systems-level analysis of eukaryotic and prokaryotic microorganisms and cell organelles. All articles are peer-reviewed. The journal welcomes submissions employing any type of research approach, be it analytical (aiming at a better understanding), applied (aiming at practical applications), synthetic or theoretical.Current Genetics no longer accepts manuscripts describing the genome sequence of mitochondria/chloroplast of a small number of species. Manuscripts covering sequence comparisons and analyses that include a large number of species will still be considered.
