Geobios在古生物學、古生物生物學、古生態學、古生物地理學、(生物)地層學和生物地球化學的任何領域，以英文原版同行評議的文章雙月刊出版。所有的分類群，包括微化石，無脊椎動物，植物，脊椎動物和魚化石都被處理。Geobios歡迎基于原始材料的描述性論文(例如大型系統古生物學著作)，以及更具分析性和/或方法論導向的論文，前提是它們能提供強大而重要的生物年代/生物地層學、古生物地理學、古生物學和/或系統發育新視角。將地球和生命科學的各個領域結合起來，采用多學科或跨學科方法進行同步和/或歷時性研究，這是一項高度優先的工作。還考慮了基于現有數據的工作

Geobios publishes bimonthly in English original peer-reviewed articles of international interest in any area of paleontology, paleobiology, paleoecology, paleobiogeography, (bio)stratigraphy and biogeochemistry. All taxonomic groups are treated, including microfossils, invertebrates, plants, vertebrates and ichnofossils. Geobios welcomes descriptive papers based on original material (e.g. large Systematic Paleontology works), as well as more analytically and/or methodologically oriented papers, provided they offer strong and significant biochronological/biostratigraphical, paleobiogeographical, paleobiological and/or phylogenetic new insights and perspectices. A high priority level is given to synchronic and/or diachronic studies based on multi- or inter-disciplinary approaches mixing various fields of Earth and Life Sciences.
