教育測量:問題與實踐(EM:IP)的主要目的是促進對評估、評估、測試以及對教育者和公眾具有實際重要性的相關(guān)問題有更好的理解和合理的辯論。為此,EM:IP發(fā)表的文章既及時又有潛力推進教育測量的政策和實踐。注:“教育測量”一詞在這里的使用非常廣泛,可以指根據(jù)考試成績或其他評估方式作出的推斷和采取的行動。

The primary purpose of Educational Measurement: Issues and Practice (EM:IP) is to promote a better understanding of and reasoned debate on assessment, evaluation, testing, and related issues of practical importance to educators and the public. To this end, EM:IP publishes articles that are both timely and have the potential to advance the policies and practices of educational measurement.Note: The term "educational measurement" is used herein in a very broad sense, and can refer to both inferences made and actions taken on the basis of test scores or other modes of assessment.
