作為公共經(jīng)濟(jì)理論協(xié)會(huì)(APET)的官方期刊，《公共經(jīng)濟(jì)理論期刊》(JPET)致力于推動(dòng)公共經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)領(lǐng)域的研究。提交作品的評判依據(jù)是它們的創(chuàng)造性和嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)性，《華爾街日報(bào)》對所采用技術(shù)的復(fù)雜性既沒有設(shè)定上限，也沒有設(shè)定下限。本雜志的主題包括公共產(chǎn)品、地方公共產(chǎn)品、俱樂部經(jīng)濟(jì)、外部性、稅收、增長、公共選擇、社會(huì)和公共決策、投票、市場失靈、監(jiān)管、項(xiàng)目評估、公平和政治制度。涵蓋了廣泛的理論方法，包括一般均衡理論、博弈論、進(jìn)化、實(shí)驗(yàn)、控制理論和動(dòng)力學(xué)、仿真、公理化描述，以及一階和比較靜態(tài)方法。除了發(fā)表經(jīng)過同行評審的全篇文章外，JPET還提供了簡短的注釋、說明、評論、調(diào)查報(bào)告和回顧。

As the official journal of the Association of Public Economic Theory (APET), Journal of Public Economic Theory (JPET) is dedicated to stimulating research in the rapidly growing field of public economics. Submissions are judged on the basis of their creativity and rigor, and the Journal imposes neither upper nor lower boundary on the complexity of the techniques employed.This journal focuses on such topics as public goods, local public goods, club economies, externalities, taxation, growth, public choice, social and public decision making, voting, market failure, regulation, project evaluation, equity, and political systems. Coverage includes a wide range of theoretical approaches, including general equilibrium theory, game theory, evolution, experimentation, control theory and dynamics, simulation, axiomatic characterization, and first order and comparative static methods.In addition to publishing peer-reviewed, full-length articles, JPET features short notes, exposita, comments, survey papers and retrospectives.
