計算神經科學前沿致力于促進大腦功能的理論建模，促進理論神經科學和實驗神經科學之間的跨學科互動。在理解大腦驚人能力方面的進展仍然是有限的，我們相信，只有通過深入的理論思考和不同學科和方法之間相互促進的合作，才能實現這一目標。因此，我們邀請對廣泛的主題作出原創貢獻，以展示這種合作的成果，或為未來的聯盟提供刺激。我們的目標是為神經系統的前沿理論研究提供一個互動的論壇，并向更廣泛的神經科學社區傳播最好的理論研究。所有類型和所有級別的模型都是受歡迎的，從生物物理動機的神經元和突觸的現實模擬到高級抽象的推理和決策模型。雖然該雜志主要側重于基于理論和驅動的研究，我們歡迎驗證和測試理論結論的實驗研究。

Frontiers in Computational Neuroscience is devoted to promoting theoretical modeling of brain function and fostering interdisciplinary interactions between theoretical and experimental neuroscience. Progress in understanding the amazing capabilities of the brain is still limited, and we believe that it will only come with deep theoretical thinking and mutually stimulating cooperation between different disciplines and approaches. We therefore invite original contributions on a wide range of topics that present the fruits of such cooperation, or provide stimuli for future alliances. We aim to provide an interactive forum for cutting-edge theoretical studies of the nervous system, and for promulgating the best theoretical research to the broader neuroscience community. Models of all styles and at all levels are welcome, from biophysically motivated realistic simulations of neurons and synapses to high-level abstract models of inference and decision making. While the journal is primarily focused on theoretically based and driven research, we welcome experimental studies that validate and test theoretical conclusions.
