《上癮行為》是一本國際同行評審的期刊，自1975年以來出版了高質量的關于上癮行為和疾病的人類研究。該雜志接受關于物質相關成癮(如濫用酒精、毒品和尼古丁，以及涉及賭博和科技的行為成癮)的長篇論文和簡短通信。我們主要發表行為和心理社會研究，但我們的文章涉及心理學、社會學、精神病學、流行病學、社會政策、醫學、藥理學和神經科學等領域。雖然理論方向是多樣的，但該雜志的重點主要是實證的。也就是說，良好的實驗設計加上有效、可靠的評價和評價程序是驗收的必要條件。然而，創新和以經驗為導向的案例研究也被接受，這可能會鼓勵新的研究方向。對當前病因學、預防、社會政策或治療方面的知識有明顯貢獻的研究將得到優先考慮。學術評論的熱點問題，系統的審查，和微型審查是鼓勵。我們特別歡迎包含視頻或音頻組件的多媒體論文，以更好地顯示方法或結果。

Addictive Behaviors is an international peer-reviewed journal publishing high quality human research on addictive behaviors and disorders since 1975. The journal accepts submissions of full-length papers and short communications on substance-related addictions such as the abuse of alcohol, drugs and nicotine, and behavioral addictions involving gambling and technology. We primarily publish behavioral and psychosocial research but our articles span the fields of psychology, sociology, psychiatry, epidemiology, social policy, medicine, pharmacology and neuroscience. While theoretical orientations are diverse, the emphasis of the journal is primarily empirical. That is, sound experimental design combined with valid, reliable assessment and evaluation procedures are a requisite for acceptance. However, innovative and empirically oriented case studies that might encourage new lines of inquiry are accepted as well. Studies that clearly contribute to current knowledge of etiology, prevention, social policy or treatment are given priority. Scholarly commentaries on topical issues, systematic reviews, and mini reviews are encouraged. We especially welcome multimedia papers that incorporate video or audio components to better display methodology or findings.
